"Andamento - Spilimbergo Style" with Carolina Zanelli

In this workshop led by Spilimbergo mosaic instructor, Carolina Zanelli, students will focus on the andamento techniques of setting tesserae in the modern Spilimbergo “style”, mixing both large and small tesserae, as well as incorporating non-classical shapes. Exercises will include both drawing and hands-on tesserae samples in different materials.

Because this course explores the more contemporary versions of the language of mosaic, students are required to have the classical foundation of andamento, therefore the core CMS Andamento workshop is a prerequisite. Andamento with Sue Giannotti
