REFUND POLICY
The Chicago Mosaic School refund policy will be granted in the following time frame below. Please read carefully:
**Class Credit may be given to students as requested according to the refund structure above. Class Credit is valid for ONE (1) Year of the cancellation date.
Please note that if you cancel a class or workshop and receive a refund to your original form of payment, credit card processing fees will not be refunded.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the policy stated above. Please contact our Administrative Office at info@chicagomosaicschool.org for additional questions or concerns.
Please note that if you enrolled in a class or workshop more than 180 days in advance, we will only be able to provide class credit. This is due to a banking policy.
LOW ENROLLMENT
If The Chicago Mosaic School cancels the course for which you have enrolled, you will receive a full refund regardless of the time frame stated above.
Classes are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. The Chicago Mosaic School and instructors determine this minimum enrollment number.
Cancellations may be made up to THREE (3) days prior to the first day of the class. Students will be notified of the cancellation via email or by telephone.
Full tuition will be refunded via PayPal within TWO (2) business days of cancellation notification. Students may opt to receive credit towards any future course that The Chicago Mosaic School may offer.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are non-refundable. All Gift Certificates have an expiration date of one year from date of purchase.
GROUPON CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Due to the high demand and limited spaces, cancellations MUST be made more than TWO (2) weeks before your workshop in order to reschedule your spot. If you reschedule within TWO (2) weeks or less before your booked date, you will be charged a $20/person rescheduling fee. CMS reserves the right to redeem all coupons within this time period.
If you are a no-show, The Chicago Mosaic School will still be redeeming your voucher.
Late Arrivals: If you are 30mins or more to your Groupon workshop, you will be charged a $20/person rescheduling fee due to workshop sizes.
You may also opt to use the amount of your unredeemed Groupon purchase towards any CMS class or workshop.
If The Chicago Mosaic School cancels the Groupon Workshop for which you have enrolled, you will receive a one time rescheduling fee waived regardless of the time frame stated above.

PROCEDURES
Missing class
The Chicago Mosaic School does not grant make up classes for missed classes. In the event of an emergency, or unusual circumstances the administrative staff will review requests for make ups on a case by case basis. All decisions are final and can not be re-submitted for review.
Open Studio
Open studio is held every Thursday, 11am-3pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm unless posted otherwise. The one-time drop-in fee is $20.
Students may purchase a 4 Session pass from the CMS office at a discounted rate of $60.
Studio Clean Up
All students are expected to clean up their own workspace at the end of class and return all materials back to supply bins after the end of each project.
Instructors are expected to take the garbage out at the end of each class.
Please do not put glue or grout in the sink, it clogs the pipes.
Student Work
After a grace period of 30 days from student’s last day of class, The Chicago Mosaic School is not responsible for work left behind.
The Chicago Mosaic School reserves the right to change, alter and/or amend the Refund Policy at any time.
