Mosaic II Intensive Workshop

This 2 ½ day follow up workshop to Mosaic I is for students who want to advance their exploration of mosaics and hone basic skills and familiarize themselves with more advanced concepts through our excellent instruction. In addition to ongoing discussions about appropriate materials, adhesives, substrates and grout – students begin a larger project developed by learning about color, design, and andamento. Students are strongly encouraged to design and compose original designs with faculty assistance. Participants develop confidence, independence and the courage to take their work to the next level. As always at CMS, guidance and encouragement is provided for student that want to continue learning about the vast possibilities of expression through mosaic art.

All materials are included. This workshop is also offered as a 6-week class. 

Prerequisite: Mosaic I (previously titled Intro to Mosaics I).
