Large Scale Mosaic Workshop

Large scale mosaics can be made well and durably by learning professional approaches in our 5 day intensive, hands on workshop. Students will learn the skills/techniques for creating a sustainable large-scale outdoor mosaic using direct method.

The workshop includes a complete overview of materials, techniques, and hands-on experience that will guide students through each stage of the process- from design, creation, and installation of a mosaic mural onto an exterior brick wall. Subjects discussed include sustainability, design, substrate and material selection and preparation, mosaic creation, installation, and documentation.

This is a must-do workshop for students wanting to dive into larger work and who want to learn best practices for taking on big projects.
