Advanced Jewelry with Casey Van Loon
In this 1-day workshop, students can explore the beauty of miniature expression while creating works of wearable art. Inspired by the beauty of material, students will create a range of mosaic jewelry pieces, focusing on composition and design, color, all while advancing techniques in cutting and setting. Students will work with preformed bases and will explore the beauty of lustre glass, and how it interacts with other contrasting materials such as marble and slate.
