A Basic Course in Drawing for Mosaic Online

CMS is now offering online introduction for basic drawing for mosaic. In this live interactive workshop, students are lead in a 3-hour Zoom class session broken into three parts.

This is a great workshop for those who want to create and learn the basic concepts and grammar of andamenti through live demos and drawing exercises, gain historical context while drawing out the differences between Roman, Byzantine and Contemporary mosaics, and finally creating your own mosaic drawing from a simple photographic image.

This workshop is approximately 3-hours with short breaks. Students must be able to download and print out some materials prior to class.

This workshop is great for students working at all levels of experience!
